A voice you never want to forget. The first recording of a child laughing. A song from a wedding. A message from someone who is gone. I transform sounds like these into a unique sculptural form and fabricate it as a physical object, signed.

Share the sound
Send a voice recording or audio file, and tell me what it means to you.

The form is generated
Using the method from my doctoral research, the sound’s own data shapes the sculpture. No two are alike.

Review
You see a digital preview of the form before anything is fabricated.

Receive it
A signed physical piece, with a certificate recording the sound it came from.
Scale and material
Every commission is quoted individually. Size, material and finish are decided together once I have heard the recording and understood what the piece is for — a private object for a mantelpiece asks for something different from a memorial in a public space.
The method behind the work
Call for Life, made with this method from audio recorded during an earthquake rescue operation, was shortlisted for the Lumen Prize 2025. The method itself comes from my PhD, Sound Data as Design Material.
